Rabat – Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 1,240 new emerging coronavirus infections (Covid-19), 1,361 healings and 23 deaths in the past 24 hours.
In the daily bulletin of the epidemiological surveillance results of (Covid-19), the ministry said that the new result had brought the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom to 458,865 cases since the announcement of the first case on March 2, and the total cure total to 433,937 cases, a cure rate of 94.6%, while the number of deaths increased to 7,911, with a death rate of 1.7%.
The cases of infection recorded during the last 24 hours are distributed in the regions of the Kingdom between the regions of Casablanca-Settat with 429 cases, Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (268), Rabat-Sale-Kénitra (135), l ‘East (125), and Souss-Massa (78). ), Marrakech-Safi (69), Fès-Meknès (46), Daraa-Tafilalet (24), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (22), Laayoune-Sakia Al-Hamra (20), Guelmim-Oued Noun (19), and Dakhla-Wadi-Dahab (5).
As for the dead, they are distributed in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (6), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (4), East (2), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (2), Marrakech-Safi (2), and Sous-Massa (2), And Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra (2), Fès-Meknès (1), Draa-Tafilalet (1) and Rabat-Sale-Kénitra (1).
According to the bulletin, the cumulative infection index in Morocco is 1,263 injured per 100,000 people, with an infection index of 3.4 per 100,000 people in the last 24 hours, while the total number of cases assets currently under treatment is 17.17.
The number of new serious or critical cases registered in the intensive care unit in the last 24 hours has reached 68 confirmed cases and 47 probable cases, bringing the total number of these cases to 975, including 83 on penetrating artificial respiration and 533 by non-penetrating artificial respiration.
The recovery bed fill rate for COVID-19 was 31 percent.
