If the Porsche Taycan is now well established on the market, the Stuttgart firm is preparing a more adventurous version called Cross Turismo. And here it is for the first time in photos without camouflage.
In the days or weeks leading up to the launch of a new vehicle, manufacturers are removing more and more camouflage from their test models, giving a small glimpse of the look of the car in question. Porsche doesn’t even bother with its Taycan Cross Turismo anymore as these photos of the naked car prove! Surprise outside a Southern California mall by Noobtographer on Instagram and unveiled on the Wilcoblok account, this 100% electric breaker breaker no longer hides anything about its appearance. On the contrary, it proudly shows off rims with a very worked look.
For the rest, we find the main characteristics of this Cross Turismo: a slightly raised body height, roof bars, as well as side sills and wheel arches covered with plastic protections … As for the interior, unsurprisingly, it is almost identical to that of the classic Taycan. It is almost certain that the estate version of the Taycan will offer more space in the rear and a little more cargo space. What to satisfy those who find that the sedan lacks space.
Mystery about the numbers
Porsche has not yet revealed the detailed technical characteristics of this Cross Turismo version. But it probably won’t be long before we know exactly what it is. The model may only be offered in a four-wheel drive version, which means that the entry-level pure propulsion model recently added to the Taycan’s catalog will not be available on the adventurer version.
The wagon should leave the choice between the 4S of 530 hp and the Turbo of 680 hp, or even the Turbo S of 761 hp. As for the price, we must expect a slight increase compared to that of the sedan already displayed from 109,414 euros in 4S, 156,336 euros in Turbo and 189,934 euros in Turbo S. Case to be continued!
