The facts occurred Thursday on a departmental road in the Aveyron. The gendarmes carried out speed checks on the roads in the area that day, and intercepted, in particular, a Mercedes driver flashed at 122 km / h instead of 80 km / h. An excess sufficient to lead to a direct suspension of his driving license, and which therefore obliged him to call a friend to come and pick him up on the spot.
But the 74-year-old driver chose another method: a few minutes later, another gendarme battalion again checks him in speeding (134 km / h instead of 80 km / h) in the other direction.

As he was driving without a license during this second check, the driver will undoubtedly see his sentence increase considerably in court. And this time, his car was confiscated to prevent him from driving away.
