Put back on track by GMC in a new generation now 100% electric, the Hummer retains its AD as a franchiser but everything changes radically, starting with its look. While awaiting the start of its commercialization, the very first Hummer Edition 1 was sold at auction for 2.5 million dollars.
Relaunched by the General Motors group through its GMC brand, Hummer went green by presenting its first electric vehicle at the start of the year.
At the highly anticipated Barrett-Jackson sale in Scottsdale, Arizona, the first copy of the pickup was put up for auction. The GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 was sold for the sum of 2.5 million dollars or approximately 2.1 million euros. As a reminder, the production model will be marketed at a price of 112,595 dollars, or about 95,300 euros.
All proceeds were donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation to help American veterans.

In terms of autonomy, it will be possible to achieve 563 kilometers (theoretical) and to recharge the battery, count around 10 minutes on ultra-fast 350 kW terminals to recover 160 kilometers of autonomy.
