Suzuki Jimny LWB: surprised during road tests
But the news of the model should not stop there: indeed, a new version of the Suzuki Jimny, heavily camouflaged, was surprised during tests on the roads of Spain by spy photographers. This future LWB version (for Long Wheel Base) hasan extended wheelbase, and could be used to achieve different variations, as a five-door version or a pick-up, or to improve the space on board as well as the trunk volume.
These different variants would be intended to be sold in different markets around the world, where the needs are not always the same as in Europe: for example, a 5-door version could be intended for the Indian market, while a pick-up version would find a taker on the Australian market, fond of this silhouette. However, no official information has yet been released on this subject.
Anyway, this evolution would adopt the same mechanics as the current Suzuki Jimny, with its four-cylinder 1.5 liter naturally aspirated petrol with 102 horsepower and 135 Nm of torque, its five-speed manual or four-speed automatic. gears, and its four-wheel drive transmission.
