Sebastian Vettel’s collection of supercars for sale!

insta car February 18, 2021

The quadruple world champion cleans his garage, and separates, among other things, from his Ferrari Enzo and LaFerrari.

On leaving Ferrari for Aston Martin, Sebastian Vettel probably decided to do a housecleaning in his life, and including within his impressive collection. Result: eight of his cars are for sale at Tom Hartley Jnr. , a British specialist.

And these cars are not the least: Ferrari Enzo, LaFerrari or F50, a very rare BMW Z8, an astonishing Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series … The world champion is not lacking in taste! On the other hand, he seems to have run out of time in recent years: his cars are very few kilometers, but remain perfectly maintained.

It is not clear why Vettel decided to part with this collection, but it is hard to imagine that it was for a money problem. Aston Martin has also denied having pushed it to sell its Ferraris. The quadruple world champion therefore more likely just wanted to wipe out his past in red, and why not free up room for future Aston Martins like the Valkyrie!

We present these exceptional cars to you! Prepare your checkbook and call your banker, your bank account will take a hit …

Ferrari LaFerrari (2016): already sold

Vettel bought this new LaFerrari, and has since driven only 413 km. Like most of his cars bought new, Sebastian Vettel took the opportunity to embroider his personal logo on the headrests. Enough to probably further increase the value of this 963 hp hybrid supercar!

Ferrari Enzo (2004): price on request

Probably the jewel of this collection, this Ferrari Enzo is in exceptional condition, in addition to belonging to the famous German champion. Unsurprisingly, the price is therefore not revealed by the seller. In addition, it only traveled about 1,800 km. The seller considers this copy to be “the best on sale in the world“, and that’s probably true. A collector among collectors.

Ferrari F50 (1996): already sold

After signing his contract at Ferrari in 2015, Vettel embarked on a series of purchases of his favorite Ferraris: among them this Ferrari F50 from 1996. This V12 supercar with manual transmission is in excellent condition despite its 25 years, and for good reason: it does not display only 8,000 km on the odometer. But unfortunately it is already sold!

Ferrari F12 TdF (2016): 865,000 €

This more radical version of the front V12 GT from Ferrari was ordered new by Vettel, with many options, and its logo embroidered on the seats. With just over 1,000 km, the F12 TdF is practically new. For sale for £ 750,000 (approx. € 865,000), an offer was made below this price, and accepted by Vettel. But there is still time to offer a higher price to win the sale!

Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series: 317,000 €

This ultimate version of the crazy Mercedes SL65 AMG was only produced in 350 units. This one was given as a gift in Vettel by the organizers of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, after the German victory on the circuit in 2009. He has since covered 2,800 km at the wheel of the 670 hp V12 coupe. As for the Ferrari F12 TdF, an offer was made under the 317,000 € requested by the world champion, but you can still counterattack with a higher figure.

Mercedes SLS AMG (2010): 202,000 €

By dint of looking at the rear of the SLS AMG which served as Safety Car in F1 for many years, Vettel undoubtedly wanted to be able to drive it himself … Hence this matt gray copy, the same color as the safety car! He has since driven it for nearly 7,000 km.

BMW Z8 (2002): 202,000 €

This rare BMW (1,895 ex. Produced) is a perfect example of neo-retro design so popular in the early 2000s. The roadster was imported by Vettel from the United States in 2015, and has a total of 21,700 km on the odometer. The Z8 has since been restored by BMW Classic, and, even at over € 200,000, still looks like a good deal as this model is expected to gain in value in the future.

Ferrari 458 Speciale (2015): 404,000 €

This 458 Speciale was the first new Ferrari that Sebastian Vettel offered himself, during his first season as a Scuderia driver. And what a model! The Speciale is the more radical version of the 458, the brand’s latest atmospheric V8 berlinetta. Many then sang the praises of its sharp chassis, and its very singing engine. Normal therefore that the Ferrari has become a immediate collector, with prices that never go below the new price bar. This Speciale has also been personalized by the German champion, with a special paint (metallic black with golden glitter), and its famous logo on the seats. It totals just over 3,000 km. As with the F12 and SL65, an offer has already been accepted below the asking price, but a larger check might get you it.
