Renault opens orders for the Arkana, its new Coupé SUV. Prices, engines, equipment … discover the range in detail!
It is done ! Almost six months after unveiling it in its “European” version (the model was launched in 2019 in Russia), Renault is marketing the Arkana, its very first coupe SUV, on the French market. Orders will be open on March 10 but the prices are already known!
With us, the 4.56 long model (for 1.80 m wide, 1.57 m high, 2.72 m wheelbase and a trunk volume of 513 liters or 480 liters in E-Tech Hybrid version), with a familiar look (LED headlamps C-shaped and imposing diamond on the grille, like Renault’s latest creations) but with a plunging roofline, starts at € 29,700 (four cylinders 1.3 The 140 hp gasoline with 12V micro-hybridization and Zen finish).
The Renault Arkana range in detail
Three trim levels are listed in the catalog : “Zen”, “Intens” and RSLine “. The first is the entry level and is rather well equipped since it receives as standard Full LED Pure Vision headlights, 17-inch black diamond-coated alloy wheels, access and hands-free starting, automatic climate control, electric windows, 1 / 3-2 / 3 folding rear seat, cruise control / speed limiter, multimedia system with 7-inch screen, reversing camera, vehicle assistance. front and rear parking, lane departure warning or recognition of traffic signs.The petrol versions also have a 4.2-inch analogue instrument cluster while the hybrid version inherits a digital instrument cluster of 7 inches.
Above, “Intens” adds 18-inch alloy rims, a full-grain leather steering wheel, an induction smartphone charger, the EasyLink multimedia system with 9.3-inch screen and GPS navigation, a digital and customizable 10 handset, 2 inches, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and parking exit warning.
Finally, the top of the range RSLine also benefits from a specific exterior design (badges, skis, exhaust cannulas, etc.), leather upholstery with red stitching, an aluminum pedals, heated front seats, Easy Park Assist and a lateral obstacle detection system.
Hybrid or micro-hybrid
On the mechanical side, the Arkana is powered by electrified engines. On the menu: a hybrid version with theE-Tech Hybrid 1.6L 145 hp or a four-cylinder 1.3 The gasoline of 140 or 160 ch with micro-hybridization 12V. The EDC dual-clutch automatic transmission is standard in all cases.
A Coupe SUV made in Korea
Based on the modular platform CMF-B of the Renault-Nissan Alliance, the Arkana will be produced at the Busan plant in South Korea, alongside the Renault Samsung Motors XM3. It will first be offered in its TCe 140 version. The TCe 160 will arrive later while the E-Tech Hybrid version is expected during the month of June.
