After the Taycan, Porsche took a Panamera Turbo S to the Road Atlanta circuit.
Well known to video game enthusiasts, the Road Atlanta circuit (Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta) regularly hosts test sessions organized by manufacturers determined to put their latest models to the test.
This time, Porsche has tackled the 4 km circuit with a Panamera Turbo S, a car that will not be available until next spring on American soil. With a power of 630 horsepower, it is able to swallow the 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.1 seconds.
Faster than the Porsche Taycan Turbo S
Coming back to the time, the Porsche Panamera Turbo S, once again by Leh Keen, completed the lap in 1 min and 31.51 seconds. It, therefore, managed to do much better than the Porsche Taycan Turbo S which had a time of 1 min and 33.88 seconds.
Despite strong arguments, the Porsche Panamera Turbo S still remains far behind the specialist in the field, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Indeed, in 2019, the German sportswoman had thus completed the lap, still at Road Atlanta, in 1 min 24.88 seconds (an absolute record for a production car).
