And one more record for Porsche, one! The new Panamera Turbo S has just claimed the title of the fastest production sedan on the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, a circuit located in Braselton, Georgia, United States.
Led by the American driver Leh Keen, the German model swallowed the 4 kilometers of the track in just 1’31”51.
“The engineers have struck the perfect balance,” commented Leh Keen after the record. “They made the car agile and sporty,” added the champion.

In the wake of the Taycan Turbo S
A little over a month ago, the Taycan Turbo S distinguished itself on this same American circuit by setting a new benchmark time in the electric car category with a time of 1’33 “88, always with Leh Keen at the wheel!
An overpowered sedan
Freshly restyled, the Panamera Turbo S draws 630 hp and 820 Nm of torque from a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. With the Sport Chrono Pack, it can cut from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.1 seconds and achieve a top speed of 315 km / h.
To avoid spoiling anything, Porsche recently optimized its chassis to increase comfort on the road and stability in the bends. “The improvements also apply to adaptive dampers, electronic anti-roll stabilization, steering as well as the redesigned suspension of engines and axles,” said the manufacturer. The sedan is displayed on the French market from 187,036 €.
