All Porsches have to do a quick lap at Road Atlanta at some point, and the 718 Cayman GT4 is far from the worst performing.

The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 is above all a sports car. It is equipped with a 6-cylinder flat with 4 liters of displacement. This naturally aspirated engine allows the German to take advantage of a power of 420 horsepower, enough to offer great sensations on the circuit.

Faster than electric!

And it is precisely on the route of Road Atlanta that the sportswoman decided to roar her flat-6, associated here with a manual gearbox. With American driver Leh Keen at the wheel, she completed the lap in 1 min 32.24, even reaching 246 km / h at the end of the straight line. That’s only 11 km / h slower than the Porsche Panamera Turbo S on the same track.

On the chrono side, there again, it is found just behind the Panamera Turbo S (1 min 31.51 s), but ahead of the Taycan Turbo S (1 min 33.88 s). On the other hand, it remains far behind the benchmark on this circuit for cars approved for the road, namely the Porsche 911 GT2 RS (991). The latter had covered the 4.09 km of Road Atlanta circuit in 1 min 24.88 s.
