Peugeot will finally give up its attempt to invade the American market. Stellantis prefers to do everything to help Alfa Romeo.
For several years now, PSA has been planning to bring the Peugeot brand to the United States. The French group wanted to gain market share on land of particularly large size, while it was stagnating in Europe. But since last year, the French have largely blamed FCA (Fiat-Chrysler Automobile) for forming the new Stellantis group.
PSA therefore had to change its plans for the lion brand: too bad for Peugeot in the United States, it is better to focus on the development of Alfa Romeo which is currently struggling to compete with Audi, Mercedes and BMW on the global premium market.
Peugeot only in Europe and China
