The lioness is released! Peugeot has unveiled its all-new 308. A third generation of the compact which evolves radically and imposes strongly by its increasing dimensions (4.37 m long, 12 cm longer than before) and its ever more dynamic or even aggressive style (new logo, extended hood, tapered headlamps, luminous fangs …).
Energized on the outside, refined and high tech on the inside
On board, the car clearly moving upmarket with some quality finishes and materials and more high-tech equipment than ever (new 10-inch central touch screen, 3D holographic display …).
A marked increase in livability
Not to spoil anything, the new 308 shows itself more spacious, more habitable, especially in the rear seats thanks to a wheelbase extended from 55 mm to 2.68 m. The trunk load volume is announced at 412 liters in thermal and just under 370 liters in hybrid.
From 110 to 225 hp for the moment
Finally, under the hood, the compact will be offered with engines gasoline (1.2L PureTech 110 and 130 hp) and diesel (1.5L BlueHDi 130) but also in two versions plug-in hybrids. One of 180 hp and the other of 225 hp, as on the 3008 Hybrid. A micro-hybridization is also expected in 2023. A 100% electric version and a sports variant PSE could also complete the range.
Launch in fall 2021
This new Peugeot 308, which the break variation will be revealed in June, to arrive at in concession in the fall.
