A few days after its presentation, the new Peugeot 308 is already in production. Discover in video behind the scenes of its manufacture at the Stellantis factory in Mulhouse (Haut-Rhin).
Cock-a-doodle Doo ! Revealed a few days ago, the new Peugeot 308 will be “Made in France”. The third-generation compact will be produced at the Stellantis plant in Mulhouse, in Haut-Rhin (68), with the DS 7 Crossback, Peugeot 508 and Peugeot 508 SW.
Welcome to the Stellantis factory in Mulhouse!
Its production has already started. On this occasion, the Franco-Italian-American firm, born from the merger of PSA and Fiat-Chrysler automobiles, opens the doors to its Alsatian site to make us discover behind the scenes of the production of the 308.
Stellantis expects production to ramp up by the end of the first half, given the marketing schedule, the group spokeswoman told AFP.
Rising prices and availability in the second half of 2021
The new Peugeot 308 will indeed available to order at the end of the first half of 2021. It should then be proposed around from 26,000 €. A slightly higher price compared to the current 308 which starts at 24,650 € (PureTech 110 BVM Active). Its arrival at the dealership is scheduled for next fall
