Mercedes has just started production of the new C-Class at its plant in Bremen, Germany. The sedan’s order book will open on March 30.

Produced in Germany and soon also in China and South Africa
The first copies of the model have rolled out in recent days from the Mercedes plant in Bremen, Germany, where the all-electric GLC, GLC Coupé and EQC are also assembled.
“Our team in Bremen has done a great job over the past few months. Despite the challenges imposed this year, our employees have successfully managed the start-up of the new C-Class and at the same time have provided unwavering support to our colleagues from the other Class C factories. After Bremen, the fifth C-Class of the name will subsequently be also manufactured in Beijing, China, and at the East London site in South Africa.
The new Class C displayed at around € 42,000?
Externally revamped (increased dimensions, new more dynamic headlights at the front, more tapered LED lights at the rear …), modernized inside (large vertical touch screen, instrument panel. digital …), more technological than ever (latest generation of the MBUX multimedia system, numerous driving aids, etc.), and electrified under the hoods (48 V light hybrid gasoline and diesel engines and plug-in hybrid version), the new Mercedes C-Class will arrive in dealerships in summer 2021.
Its order book will be open from March 30 and prices should start around 42,000 €. The station wagon version could ask for around € 1,200 extra.
