The chevron brand presented the 100% electric version of its family MPV, the Citroën ë-Berlingo, which adopts an electric motor of 136 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque.

After the presentation of its cousins ​​Peugeot e-Rifter and Opel Combo-e Life, as well as the utility version Citroën ë-Berlingo Van, here is the version of the 100% electric Berlingo intended for families: the Citroën ë-Berlingo. Like the first, we find under its hood the e-GMP electric motor from the Stellantis group, manufactured in France near Metz.

This has a maximum power of 136 horses (100 kW) and 260 Nm of torque, with an “ë-Toggle” selector offering the choice between three driving modes (Eco, Normal and Power). With its 50 kWh lithium-ion battery, guaranteed for 8 years or 160,000 km, the Citroën ë-Berlingo has a mixed range of 280 km (WLTP).

Three charging possibilities are available: a home charge requiring a Mode 2 cable, a fast charge requiring a Mode 3 cable and the installation of a Wallbox from 3.7 to 22 kW, with a recharging time from 5 hours (Wall Box 11kW three-phase), and finally a super fast charge on a public terminal up to 100 kW, with a Mode 4 cable: the latter allows recover 80% of autonomy in 30 minutes.

The Citroën ë-Berlingo is distinguished by “ë” badges as well as blue anodized inserts on the shields and Airbump. It is available in two lengths (M: 4.40 meters and XL: 4.75 meters) which can accommodate 5 to 7 people, and there will be space on board, the three independent rear seats, the multifunction “Modutop” roof or the rear window opening, identical to the Citroën Berlingo thermal version, without forgetting its technological equipment and connected services. The My Citroën smartphone application also makes it possible to remotely know the state of charge and the range of the vehicle, to manage the air conditioning in the passenger compartment and to configure a deferred charge, while the Free2Move application allows access has a network of more than 220,000 charging stations in France.

The new Citroën ë-Berlingo will be marketed second half of 2021, at prices to be announced later. It completes the range of electrified models of the chevron brand, among which we find the Citroën Ami, the ë-C4, the C5 Aircross Hybrid, the ë-Spacetourer, as well as the utility versions which will be launched later.
