Lotus has decided to completely renew its range and to put an end to the career of the Elise, the Exige and the Evora. In their place, three sports news are announced!
Clearly, Lotus has no shortage of projects at the start of the year! Not content with developing a new 100% electric sports car with Alpine, the British firm will also completely review its range. She has indeed decided to renew her entire catalog!
Over 55,000 sales between them
While the electric supercar Evija is due to go into production in the coming months, Lotus has just announced the end of the career of its Elise, Exige and Evora by the end of the year. Between them, these cars will have sold more than 55,000 copies around the world. Also, to properly celebrate their end of career, Lotus has already promised “a full program of festivities”.

Spirit are you there?
No information has yet been communicated about them but Lotus announces however that the first of them, called Type 131 internally, will be launched this year. Some already see it as the return of the mythical Spirit …
Pending confirmation, Lotus specifies that the new arrivals will be produced across the Channel, at the Hethel plant, which will benefit for the occasion from an investment of more than £ 100 million (more than 100 million euros) and will recruit some 250 new employees.
