London car dealership HR Owen has delivered two Lamborghini Sians to their new UK owners. Of the 63 Sians under construction, only three will be delivered to the United Kingdom and by the same concessionaire in the capital.
It is already one of the most exclusive Lamborghinis in history. First, it is the fastest Taurus supercar in terms of acceleration. It has a micro-hybrid powertrain that combines a 6.5-liter V12 with a 48-volt electrical system. In combined power, the Sian announces 819 horsepower. This is enough to make the carbon fiber car go from 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.8 seconds. Its maximum speed is 350 km / h.
And because Lamborghini likes to do things differently, the Sian replaces conventional lithium-ion batteries with a lightweight supercapacitor. Far from being a “Back to the Future” gadget, the system is recharged each time the vehicle brakes, which powers the small electric motor. The system weighs only 34 kilograms in order to limit the car’s overweight: Lamborghini claims that it is three times lighter and three times more powerful than an equivalent lithium-ion system.

Lamborghini has already sold each of the 63 Sians it plans to make, with each car getting the brand’s full customization treatment known as “Ad Personam”. The first two British customers to take delivery of their cars made good use of the program in question. One is painted in ‘Grigio Nimbus’ gray with a carbon roof and ‘Rosso Mars’ accents. Inside, the upholstery is black “Nero Ade” with “Rosso Alala” stitching.
The other comes with a ‘Nero Helene’ body and exposed carbon fiber on the hood, front light inserts, fenders and engine cover. This darker look stands out with touches of “Oro Electrum”, a color also used on the alloy wheels of the Italian supercar.
While two of the three Sians bound for the United Kingdom have already passed through the HR Owen showroom in London, the arrival of the third will consolidate Lamborghini London’s position as “Lamborghini’s most successful dealer in terms of sales volume ”since the showroom opened in 1999.
