It drives at 354 km / h in a 1000 horsepower Audi RS6 4

The last video from our colleagues from AutoTop NL is certainly one of the most striking. It hit 354 km / h in one of the most edgy station wagons on the market.

It is the most powerful new generation Audi RS6 Avant known to date. So it was rather normal that our colleagues from AutoTop NL wanted to take him on a portion of the German motorway without limitation. It’s done and the video is impressive. Not only does this Audi RS6 Avant from MTM develop 1000 horsepower, but it no longer has any electronic limitation of its maximum speed.

Thus, no question of blocking at 305 km / h … No, no! She passed them happily and with disconcerting ease. The figures continue to climb as if the German station wagon went from 100 to 130 km / h, while the odometer exceeds 300! Maximum speed: 354 km / h, after passing a truck that appeared to be stopped 4 km / h earlier.

1000 horsepower under the hood

So of course this Audi RS6 Avant is not original. The tuning company MTM took care of it by providing it with a “Stage 4”: an improvement kit costing more than 44,000 dollars. For this price, the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 therefore goes from 600 to 1,001 horsepower thanks in particular to new more imposing turbos, but beyond the power it is the acceleration which improves. The 0 to 100 km / h takes only 3.0 seconds against 3.6 seconds previously.

Even better, this edgy station wagon signed MTM pulverizes 0 to 200 km / h in just over 8.0 seconds… almost 4 seconds better than the original version. We understand better why this supercharged break is able to reach 354 km / h almost easily!
