While the Ioniq 5 is to be launched in early February, Hyundai has just released a new video presentation of its vehicle. We only see a few new features such as these square headlights which give it a very aggressive look.
A new teaser has just revealed some physical characteristics of the future Ioniq 5. In this 43-second video, we see other electric models of the brand including perhaps the new Sonata. Kia even joined in the dance by adding its Telluride.
As a reminder, this Hyundai Ioniq 5 will be based on the architecture of the E-GMP electric vehicle. Under its floor, we can therefore find a flat battery coupled to two motors.
The Ioniq 5 still very mysterious
Aside from its square headlights, not much is learned from Hyundai’s electric model. In January the manufacturer revealed some preliminary images of the Ioniq 5. We know a little more about the parametric pixel technology that Hyundai uses for its headlights and taillights.
Not to mention this new hood which improves the aerodynamics of the car and reduces the appearance of the gaps between the panels.
There are only a few more weeks to go before knowing more about the Hyundai Ioniq 5. The manufacturer should still publish a few teasers before revealing its future electric model.
