The all-new Toyota Yaris GR has a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine producing 261 horsepower. It also benefits from all-wheel drive and tuning geared towards pure driving pleasure, which notably involves the good six-speed manual gearbox.

But this manual gearbox obviously requires a minimum of care with its handling. Youtubeur Robert Mitchell, a great specialist in the Nordschleife, has just made a big downshift error behind the wheel of his new Yaris GR. While driving in the Nordschleife with a friend, he accidentally slipped second instead of fourth while driving at high speed in fifth gear. The engine then over-revs sharply, but the car showed no signs of breakage for the next few kilometers.
