After having experienced a strong increase in recent weeks, the average selling prices of the various fuels distributed in France are stabilizing.
Diesel always at a high level
The Ministry for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition has just published the new national average selling prices for different fuels (excluding Corsica), and stability now seems to be in place at the end of January 2021.
So, on January 29, 2021, the average sale price of diesel was 1.3135 euros compared to 1.3146 euros, seven days earlier. This period of stability actually hides a constant increase, which began at the beginning of November last year. However, the average selling price of a liter of diesel is still quite far from that encountered in early 2020, which was 1.4841 euros.
Gasoline stabilizes
The average selling price of the Super SP95-E10 plays the stability card, and remains for the moment well below the prices charged at the beginning of 2020 (1.5186 euros at the beginning of January 2020). Thus, the average selling price per liter is now 1.4064 euros, on January 29, 2021, against 1.4067 euros a week earlier.
To finish, concerning the Super SP95 and the Super SP98, still on the same date, again, prices stabilize. The first is thus offered at the average selling price of 1.4252 euros (1.4250 euros on January 22, 2021), against 1.4791 euros for the second (1.4786 euros on January 22, 2021).
