Good news for fans of the electric car. Volkswagen has just announced two new versions of its ID.3, including an entry-level version which brings its access rate to 33,890 euros, before deduction of the government bonus.
Available to order since July 2020, the Volkswagen ID.3 was until then offered from 36,390 euros with a 58 kWh battery and a 204 hp electric motor. Today, Volkswagen is expanding the ID.3 range with two new versions: City and Max.
ID.3 City: access finish
It is surely this version that will interest the greatest world. The ID.3 City is the most pragmatic with its engine of 150 hp and its 45 kWh battery offering a maximum autonomy of 350 kilometers (WLTP cycle).
It retains standard equipment that is essential today, such as automatic air conditioning, a GPS system or even front-to-rear parking radars. Finally, we note that it has a 7.4 kW charger.
All for an access rate of 33,890 euros, before deduction of the government bonus of 7,000 euros. Which is a good deal compared to the competition.
ID.3 Max: high-end finish
Like the classic thermal models, the ID.3 is now available in several versions. At the other end of the range is the big gap with the Max finish offered with a 204 hp called Pro Performance and coupled with a 58 kWh battery offering autonomy of 425 kilometers.
The ID.3 Max is over-equipped as standard with 19-inch rims and a high-end exterior trim level (Silver Style Pack). It stands out in particular with IQ-Light-Matrix LED projectors. On board, there is in particular a head-up display system. The charger goes to 11 kW.
The set is offered from 49,890 euros, excluding State bonus of 3,000 euros. Yes, it is the amount of aid intended for vehicles located at a selling price of between 45,000 and 60,000 euros.
