Discover Dacia’s new SUV, the Bigster, the future big brother of the Duster, in video and in great detail in the company of our journalists Stéphane Martin and Agnès Lasbarrères.
4.60 m long, a massive front face, a marked hood, broad shoulders, a substantial ground clearance, large wheels, recycled plastic protections all around the body … there is no need to say, at first contact, the Dacia Bigster imposes it.
But on closer inspection, this SUV concept, which announces the future big brother of the Duster, is also finesse with some of the most neat aesthetic elements like this new very stylish Dacia logo or this unique “high tech” light signature in “Y”.
The Bigster from every angle
Just a few days after the world premiere of the vehicle as part of the presentation of the plan Renaulution from the Renault group, our journalists Stéphane Martin and Agnès Lasbarrères have already been able to discover and get closer to the beast. They present it to us in great detail.
LPG and hybrid versions for the production Bigster
Expected by 2025, the production version of the Bigster will be based on the Renault-Nissan Alliance modular platform CMF-B and as such can embark alternative (LPG) and hybrid engines. An E-Tech hybrid version (140 hp as on the last Clio?) Could thus be on the program, which would be a great first for Dacia.
What price for the future Bigster?
As always at Dacia, the price of the Bigster will remain contained. “This SUV is Dacia’s recipe that will make accessible C-segment, at the price of a lower-segment vehicle. “, has already promised the manufacturer. The entry ticket could thus be around 20,000 €.
