This American preparer will build this replica of the legendary Porsche 935 Moby Dick, in 100% electric.
When the restomod (the restoration of old cars with modern performance) and the retrofit (the switch to electric thermal cars) meet, the results are sometimes surprising. This is the case of the new project of the American Bisimoto: the Moby_X.
640 hp. in electric!
As its name suggests, this creation is directly inspired by the Porsche 935 Moby Dick, so nicknamed because of its extravagant bodywork. A 935 won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1979.
But under the hood of this 935, no turbo flat-six: it is a 640 hp electric motor. In addition to this ultra-long “Moby_X” version, Bisimoto has already developed an electric 935, visually more faithful to the original.
The preparer has made a name for himself in California, notably with a 1,000 hp Honda Odyssey minivan, before turning recently to these famous electric Porsches.
