Last December, we showed you the new BMW 4 Series, subtly prepared by AC Schnitzer. Now it’s time for some engine modifications.
A few months after its release, the second generation of the BMW 4 Series continues to be discussed for its special grille. This did not prevent German tuner AC Schnitzer from tackling the Bavarian coupe.
Redesigned shields, 20-inch rims, side skirts, small carbon rear spoiler or even specific exhaust are part of the aesthetic kit. Question chassis, the Series 4 inherits suspensions lowered by 30 mm for better seating on the ground.
But the Aachen company also wanted to give the car more muscle by increasing the power of the petrol variants. The turbo 3.0 inline 6-cylinder of the M440i xDrive version thus goes from 374 hp and 500 Nm of torque to 420 hp and 600 Nm.
Enough to allow the Series 4 to grab a few tenths of a second at 0 to 100 km / h, an exercise it usually performs in 4.6 seconds.
